Sonia Sezille Biography

Sonia Sezille has a background in international business and international development.

Prior to joining the Politics and Governance programme at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), she was a field-based programme manager for a number of years and oversaw the implementation of emergency and development projects in Liberia, in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, in Burundi and LAOS-PDR focusing on post-crisis livelihood recovery in the areas of malnutrition, food security, water and sanitation, HIV prevention with the International NGO, Action Against Hunger (AAH).

She holds a BA (Honours) degree in Business Studies from Brunel University, UK and a Masters degree in Political Science, International Relations from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Based at ODI in London, she oversees APPP's programme management and financial administration, supporting APPP Director David Booth.

The Africa Power and Politics Programme was a Research Programme Consortium funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and Irish Aid for the benefit of developing countries.
